Hey all,

I have found all social media but especially Twitter to be a very valuable business building tool. It is a great place to collect leads as well as learn from like minded entrepreneurs.

Some quick tips to get your started on twitter...
-its a good idea to follow those who follow you, this is how you can build your list.
-Link all of your other social media content as well as your blog and business update content to twitter.
-Provide value in your tweets...stay away from the "doing laundry" tweets if you want to build your business.

Please feel free to share your own Twitter strategies here...you can follow me on twitter @ jeff_freshentre

Great post, SourcePro!

Just a quick note from my behalf. I've noticed with Twitter that aproximatly 70 precent of all network marketers present on this socila media platform are using it for pitching their Business Opportunity and not to opnely create relations and make contacts.

Stupid game to play and totally in vain.

And another thing to mention is that in order to build your list you have to start following. Not overdoing it but still following on a consistent basis. I recommend following an average 50 people a day and once hitting the 500 number, start following at a rate of 10% (of your followers number) per day.

Hi there,
Honestly, I don't use twitter more often.. Maybe because it does not fit to my characteristic.. Well, social media have their own advantage and disadvantage.. It doesn't mean that it works for you, will also work for me..

I have a URL for a free Twitter Training Webinar that is great. I had never known some of the information presented in this webinar. I don't know the appropriateness of listing it here because I don't want to bother anyone. The link is to a capture page and I can't help that, it's the only way to get the great information. If I can list the URL here, someone needs to let me know.
Otherwise, if you want the training you can PM me and I'll send you the link.

Here is how I started without a website but it also works
if you have a website, twitter or facebook account.

Write articles with great keywords. Find a digital product
online first, they are all over the net. Find one that has a
50% or greater commission or just send them to your
website, twitter or facebook account. You see facebook
and twitter are really just your personal website. There is
a video below that will show you how to get your
keywords, but this is the way I do it.

I found that using a lot of good keywords in my articles is
what gets them read. Of course you need a good keyword
tool to find the good keywords. This is what makes a reader
want to read your articles. Use the keywords in first line of
the article and in the title. Then find other keywords for the
text of your article. Below you will find a video on how to do
this. Then sumbit your article to newsletters, article directories
and other places (see article submitter below). You will be selling
products online within a day once the directories post your article.
If it is for a product that people want you will make a ton of sales.
See video below to get started on the right foot. The good thing about
this you wont even need a website because you will be selling other
peoples products.

Not often I use facebook or twitter for business purposes because I don't want to misuse them. The main purpose of social networking sites is socializing; meeting friends from all over the world, constant communication especially to our love ones in different places. But if you'd like to use it for your business, then you have all the freedom to do that. What I mean is, we should know what and how to use them appropriately. )
